This is Farmhouse Chic Fig Tree style!  Filled with country blooms, classic dots, modern checks and a grouping of versatile & fun fillers, this grouping is definitely for today’s “country girl”.  Based on colors such as Tomato, Meadow, Milk & Pumpkin, the prints and colors in this collection take us to those simpler days and ways that we all long for in today’s hustle and bustle.

Joanna's designs, both for fabric & for quilting, always start with the color palette. She works with vintage fabric swatches, her flower garden, wrapping paper, children’s illustrations from the early part of the last century, flea market finds, antique quilts to start finding color combinations that speak to her. The palette dictates the designs themselves and slowly a collection grows. When people ask her about her process, she usually calls herself a “hybrid" fabric designer. She likes to use many different mediums and techniques to create her designs -- including vintage fabrics, painting doodles, computer art, line drawings, just to name a few.
